Basalt webbing is woven from continuous filament or textured basalt fibre yarns rated to 700°C in optimum conditions in both twill and plain weave.
Basalt yarns possess higher tensile strength than E glass yarns; have a high resistance to electromagnetic radiation as well as extreme low (cryogenic) temperatures.
