• Manufactured from Black E Glass fibre yarns designed for wrapping exhaust manifolds and down pipes to improve engine performance and to protect heat sensitive components running close to the exhaust.
• Exhaust wraps are used on high performance car engines and have also proved popular with motorcycle enthusiasts.
• What makes knitted exhaust different from woven glass fibre exhaust is that knitted products by their nature are soft and extremely conformable. In addition, when the tape is wrapped in a half lap the knitted construction actually creates and traps small pockets of air which contribute to the insulation properties.
