- Type VG2 is constructed using a composite yarn manufactured from high-quality PAN fibres combination with pure Carbon fibres.
- The in-built lubrication and superior packing fibre properties of this composite yarn are further enhanced by a thorough graphite impregnation and high temperature lubricants.
- VG2 is a soft, conformable packing, with a square, inter-braided, lattice construction, which creates improved sealing contact with less gland pressure.
- The self-lubricating PAN fibre, reinforced with Carbon and heavily coated and impregnated with graphite lubricants, practically eliminates shaft scoring.
- VG2 gives extended packing life, with reduced shaft wear and gland maintenance.
