Lightweight Welding Cloth
- To enable our customers to cut, sew and punch holes more effectively, Textile Technologies apply a weavelock treatment to loomstate fabric which stiffens the cloth slightly to reduce the amount of fraying during fabrication.
- The green or blue colour aids quick identification between either 600gm or 800gm base cloths.
- The cloth is designed to be used in the vertical plain, to halt small amounts of welding spatter and sparks.
- The weavelock solution disperses at 150°C, but once this has occurred the base cloth remains in place and is effective up to 550°C in optimum conditions.
