PTFE Envelope Gaskets
PTFE Envelope Gaskets
Envelope gaskets consist of an enclosure (envelope), typically made from virgin PTFE or filled PTFE (e.g., with silica or graphite), with a standard thickness of 0.5 mm. This construction makes them particularly suitable for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. The casing is available in various shapes (U-envelope, closed, Y-shaped, etc.). The internal insert can be made from aramid fiber, graphite, ceramic fabric, elastomers, modified PTFE, corrugated AISI rings, or grounding fins upon request. Gaskets can be produced in oval, circular, or custom forms.
