PBO Webbing Tape

• Manufactured from either regenerated discontinuous filament (DF) PBO or virgin continuous filament (CF) Zylon® yarns.
• This is truly a "high tech" yarn with better heat and abrasion resistance than any other high performance fibre yet maintaining a very soft feel.
• It has superior tensile strength and modulus to aramid fibres.
• It also offers excellent chemical, creep, and cut/abrasion resistance.
• The tensile strength and impact energy absorption of PBO is more than twice that of aramid yarns.
• Rated to 650°C in optimum conditions thought strength is impacted significantly at lower temperatures.
