B-TRON Basalt Fire Membranes are a series of high-performance technical fabrics with an advanced silicone coating. The interaction of basalt fibre reinforced with Twaron® making this an extraordinary fire barrier material with added tensile strength. The special silicone elastomer coating results in a non-combustible, lightweight and flexible composite material. In environments where strict fire safety standards apply and a significant reduction in fire load is required, B-TRON is the ideal lightweight material solution. The innovative fabric can be used for a wide range of multifunctional applications and system solutions and ensures a high level of safety and performance.
Further still, versions with a highly effective intumescent graphite coating have been applied to rival no other fire barrier material like it.
