BELCOTEX® 110 fibre is the latest advancement in extreme temperature material development. Scientifically it is a polysilisic acid material, chemically known as SIAOXOL, more commonly referred to as hydrated silica fibre or silica gel
BELCOTEX® 110 fibre cloth has the following characteristics:
- Is resistant to 1050°C continuous temperatures, 1200°C in optimum conditions.
- It is fireproof, incombustible, lightweight, durable and easy to handle with a cashmere like feel.
- It is non-toxic, non respirable, non irritable and eco friendly.
- It is free from 'shot' commonly found in RCF fibre.
- It is free from organic binders and has low thermal conductivity.
- Absolutely no itching or irritation whatsoever unlike comparable alternatives.
- A vermiculite dispersion can be added to greatly improve the abrasion resistance and stiffen the fabric for clean cutting and fabrication.
