- Manufactured from mechanically textured S-TEX silica fibre yarn and has been developed as an ideal medium for thermal insulation and heat sealing applications.
- Knitted constructions tend to be softer, have more loft and more stretch than woven constructions.
- The basic fibres are lightweight, resilient, incombustible and suitable to 1000°C in optimum conditions.
- The tape is resistant to oils, most chemicals and solvents, will not rot, and is unaffected by bacterial growth.
- An adhesive backing can been applied to aid with applying the product in situ.
