- E Glass Cloth treated with aqueous vermiculite dispersion which provides a coating of platelets, which at high temperature melt to form further protection.
- The treatment increases abrasion resistance and also significantly increases its temperature resistance up to 1000°C (short term) in optimum conditions.
- Temperature resistance of base cloth is 550°C (continuous) in optimum conditions.
- Good insulation properties.
- Low smoke emissions.
- Withstands hot metal splashes and welding sparks.
- An alternative to ceramic and silica fibre where greater strength is required at high temperatures
