Aluminised OPAN PreOx Cloth
- A highly reflective multi-layer aluminised polyester film laminated to a high performance highly flexible OPAN (Oxidized polyacrylonitrile or PreOX) fabric.
- An extra elastomeric layer has been incorporated between the film and the fabric to impart a degree of water resistance for use in extremely warm and humid conditions. This layer also aids in stitch holding when making intricate garments such as gloves and helps in the shedding of molten metal splash.
- All batches of aluminised fabric for protective clothing undergo a wet-flex test, prior to release to assure the adhesion between the fabric and film.
