- Stainless Steel fibre tapes are made by weaving ultra-fine 316 stainless steel yarns in to a tape.
- The super fine soft feel of the yarns coupled with their high temperature resistance makes them particularly suitable as scratch resistant handling / conveying surfaces for hot glass processing applications.
- Withstand temperatures up to 650°C in optimum conditions.
- Abrasion resistant.
- The relatively high cost associated with these high tech yarns is offset by gains made in the longevity of the life of the product and infrequent production down times.
