HR Glass Fibre Technical Information
HR Glass (High Resist Glass) is an alkali-free aluminosilicate glass fibre containing less than 1.0% alkali and no boron oxide. HR-glass offers a balanced combination of high-temperature resistance between 600 °C and 1000+ °C, with superior chemical resistance, particularly in acidic, alkaline, and wet environments. The material withstands temperatures up to 800 °C and is suitable for demanding high temperature insulation applications where thermal stability and chemical performance are critical.
Key Features:
- High temperature resistance up to 800 °C
- Excellent chemical resistance in acidic, alkaline, and wet environments
- Good mechanical strength and thermal stability
- Alkali-free composition with no boron oxide
