SoliBlanket™ HA

By increasing the alumina content, based on a Standard RCF, we have succesfully developed a new, unique, spun, Refractory Ceramic Fiber blanket with a classification temperature of 1370°C without the use of Zirconia (ZrO2). This is SoliBlanket HA.

High Alumina blankets are not new to the market, but a HA blanket produced using the spun fiber technology is unique and results in better thermal insulation and higher strength.

Fiber products containing Zirconia (RCF-Zr), in some countries, is unfavorable and therefore the SoliBlanket HA is the solution. But we also have seen that in atmospheres with higher levels of alkali (for example Aluminium Remelt Furnaces), SoliBlanket HA-grade is more durable and less vunerable for chemical attack.
