Textile Technologies Europe Ltd, supply a range of non-mineral fibre and inherently flame resistant webbing designed for demanding industrial, military, and safety-critical applications. Engineered for strength, flexibility, and high flame resistance, our webbings are used across sectors such as defence, aerospace, rail, marine, automotive, PPE manufacturing, and industrial safety.
These materials combine mechanical durability with thermal performance, making them ideal for industrial or high performance environments where high heat or exposure to flame could be prevalent including protective clothing, foundry and high-temperature assemblies.
All products in this range are free from mineral silicate, glass or refractory ceramic fibres, ensuring there is no irritability when handling and excellent performance where skin contact or flexibility is a concern.
Our Range of Fire & Flame Resistant Webbing Includes:
-
Para Aramid Webbing Tape
-
Meta Aramid Webbing Tape

Inherently fire resistant webbings can be made in a variety of widths, thicknesses, and weave constructions, we offer both standard and custom-engineered solutions. All materials are selected to and can be tested to ensure performance under thermal stress, mechanical load, and environmental exposure.
What is inherently fire-resistant webbing used for?
Fire-resistant webbing is used in applications where flame exposure or high temperatures are a risk. Common uses include PPE, military equipment, cargo restraints, industrial harnesses, and interior components in transportation systems.
What temperature can these webbings withstand?
Para Aramid based webbings made from Kevlar® or Twaron® can withstand continuous exposure up to 350°C, whilst Meta Aramid like Nomex® and Conex® can withstand continuous exposures up to 300C.
Is this webbing suitable for use in PPE or FR Garment Protection?
Yes. Non-mineral fibre webbings are ideal for applications involving direct skin contact, such as coverall trims, belts, suspenders, and harnesses in fire safety gear.
Can I get webbing in a specific width or colour?
Inherently fire resistant webbings tend to be available in the loomstate (greige) nature of the fibre. Para Aramid is most often yellow, sometimes black. Meta Aramid is off white, sometimes olive drab. OPAN is always black and stainless steel is silver.
Are your flame-resistant webbings compliant with safety regulations?
Many of our products meet EN, ISO, and NFPA standards. Please contact us for test data, datasheets, or compliance certificates specific to your project. Certifications and Standards can be complex and differ from region to region. Textile Technologies Europe Ltd works closely with many independent testing institutes to offer complete peace of mind and ensure the highest level of unbiased quality control.
