Silica Sleeving
- Silica sleevings are made by using textured continuous filament S-TEX silica yarn guaranteeing excellent flexibility and mechanical resistance.
- The sleevings offers superior insulation, little irritation and resists continuous temperatures up to 1000°C in optimum conditions approximately.
- They do not vitrify and are recommended in substitution of ceramic fibre sleevings.
- Vermiculite dispersions can also be added to improve resistance to molten splash if required.
