Alumina Sewing Thread
- Alumina Sewing Thread (Type F2) is made from yarns composed of 72% alumina and 28% silica and are boron free.
- Alumina Sewing Thread (F2 Type) suffers almost no loss of mechanical strength at extreme temperatures up to 1250°C in optimum conditions.
- The thread contains a small % of Rayon used to help the thread run easily through the sewing machine. The rayon will disintegrate at low temperature on first application and consideration should be given to this.
