Meta Aramid Felt

• Meta aramid (Nomex®) felt does not ignite, melt, or drip and is inherently fire resistant. 
• Meta Aramid Felt retains its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.
• Even though meta aramid fibres have higher tensile strength and lower thermal conductivity than many mineral based fibres like glass, Meta Aramid fibres are soft to handle, skin friendly and processes similarly to conventional fibres.
• Meta Aramid felt is singed one side to reduce surface fibres to aid further lamination often with Aluminium Foil, KAPTON® Film, or Aluminised Polyester Film using a neoprene based adhesive.
