Bio Soluble Twisted Yarn (Rope)
- Manufactured from multiple strands of bio soluble yarn twisted together to create a yarn / rope which is highly resilient and has excellent space filling properties.
- Bio soluble (body soluble) yarns were developed as a direct replacement for harmful asbestos and ceramic fibre products.
- The bio soluble fibre insulation is rated to 1000°C in optimum conditions.
- The wire reinforcement is rated to 1000°C.
- The glass reinforcement is rated to 550°C.
- These yarns / ropes are not braided (held together) and would, if cut, unravel. It is this characteristic that makes the ropes versatile in that they can be twisted by hand more or less tightly to suit the void.
