Graphite Coated E Glass Cloth
- E Glass cloth treated with a mineral based aqueous graphite dispersion which provides a coating of platelets, which at high temperatures; melt to form a protection for the glass fibre.
- The treatment increases abrasion resistance and also slightly increases its temperature resistance.
- Continuous temperature resistance up to 600°C continuous, 1000°C short term. Withstands contact heat from a propane flame for several minutes.
- Good insulating properties.
- Good abrasion resistance.
- Low smoke emission.
- Stainless Steel wire can be incorporated within the yarn to increase tensile strength and abrasion resistance.
