STEELSHIELD Stainless Steel Foil
- 316L or 304 stainless steel foil (rather than aluminium) has a far higher than average 25 or 50 micron thickness making it extremely durable and resilient even after repeated manipulation during fabrication.
- The adhesive used to laminate the foil to the glass is a special HT silicone rated to 250°C rather than more economic adhesives rated to 180°C or less. This in turn greatly reduces the change of the foil cracking or delaminating from the glass substrate.
- Base fabric rated to 550°C in optimum conditions
