What are foil-laminated glass, basalt and silica textiles used for?
These materials are used to reflect radiant heat away from surfaces and equipment.
What’s the difference between aluminium foil and aluminised PET film laminates?
Aluminium foil provides maximum heat reflection and is ideal for static or semi-rigid applications. Aluminised PET film is lighter, more flexible, and is often used in automotive or layered insulation where conformability is key.
How much heat can these products withstand?
Depending on the base fabric, laminate type, and proximity to heat source, our heat shield textiles can withstand continuous temperatures from 250°C up to 1100°C for short-term exposure in products like Steelshield and in optimum conditions.
Can laminated textiles be supplied with adhesive backings?
Yes. Many of our foil laminate products are available with pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) options for quick, clean installation on metal, plastic, or composite surfaces.
Are custom-cut parts or kits available?
We offer fabrication services including cutting, sewing, lamination, and kit assembly, enabling clients to order parts to specific dimensions or shapes for immediate use in production or maintenance settings.
