Lightweight Welding Cloth
Textile Technologies Europe Ltd supplies Lightweight Welding Cloth manufactured from woven glass fibre fabric treated with a specialist Weavelock finish. This treatment reduces fraying during cutting, sewing and fabrication, making the fabric easier to handle and convert into welding curtains, screens and blankets.
Available in both 600gsm and 800gsm constructions, Lightweight Welding Cloth provides reliable protection against welding sparks and light welding spatter whilst remaining flexible and economical. The treatment disperses when exposed to elevated temperatures, leaving the underlying glass cloth to provide thermal protection up to 550°C in optimum operating conditions.
Lightweight Welding Cloth is widely used for welding curtains, welding screens, temporary thermal barriers and light-duty welding blanket manufacture.
WeldPro™ Treated E-Glass Cloth
Textile Technologies Europe Ltd supplies WeldPro™ Treated E-Glass Cloth, a specialist welding protection fabric engineered for demanding fabrication and industrial environments. Manufactured from woven E-glass cloth with a proprietary treatment, WeldPro™ combines excellent flexibility with enhanced resistance to welding sparks, hot scale and molten metal splash.
WeldPro™ provides continuous temperature resistance up to 550°C and can withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures of up to 1500°C from welding sparks and molten metal splash. This combination of thermal performance and durability makes it a popular choice for industrial welding protection applications.
WeldPro™ Treated E-Glass Cloth is widely used in welding blankets, welding curtains, equipment protection covers, fabrication screens and thermal barriers throughout heavy engineering and industrial maintenance operations.
Protex Cloth
Textile Technologies Europe Ltd supplies Protex Cloth for applications requiring enhanced thermal protection and improved resistance to welding spatter and abrasion. Designed for more demanding industrial environments, Protex Cloth bridges the gap between standard glass welding fabrics and high-performance thermal protection materials.
Protex Cloth offers increased durability and thermal resistance, making it suitable for fabrication workshops, engineering facilities, maintenance contractors and industrial processing plants where welding protection materials are exposed to more severe operating conditions.
Typical applications include welding blankets, fabrication screens, thermal barriers, heat shields and industrial maintenance protection systems.
Supersil Pyrocloth™
Textile Technologies Europe Ltd supplies Supersil Pyrocloth™, a high silica welding cloth engineered for severe thermal environments and extreme welding applications. Manufactured using high silica fibre technology, Supersil Pyrocloth™ offers exceptional resistance to radiant heat, molten metal splash and elevated temperatures.
With continuous operating temperatures up to 1000°C and short-term exposure capabilities exceeding 1650°C, Supersil Pyrocloth™ is designed for applications where conventional glass fibre welding fabrics are unable to provide adequate protection.
Supersil Pyrocloth™ is widely used in foundries, steel processing facilities, furnace maintenance operations, thermal barriers, welding blankets and environments exposed to severe radiant heat and molten metal splash.
Weld Relief Blankets & Wraps
Textile Technologies Europe Ltd supplies Weld Relief Blankets & Wraps designed to provide practical protection for pipework, valves, vessels, instrumentation and surrounding equipment during welding, cutting and maintenance operations.
Manufactured using specialist welding protection fabrics selected according to application requirements, Weld Relief Blankets & Wraps provide rapid deployment and effective containment of sparks, spatter and heat during maintenance activities.
These fabricated solutions are widely used within power generation, petrochemical processing, offshore maintenance, industrial shutdowns and fabrication projects where temporary thermal protection is required.
