Spiral-wound gaskets

For orders, indicate inches or DN, series or PN, tape or filler material, whether an internal ring, or both and their materials. On request, gaskets can be produced in non-standard sizes.

Spiral-wound gaskets are made from a specially profiled metal tape wound together with a filler tape (graphite, ceramic, glass fiber, PTFE, or mica) under constant tension. The metal profile provides elasticity, ensuring a reliable seal under fluctuating temperature and pressure. They can include inner and/or outer centering rings: the inner ring prevents turbulence and flange erosion, while the outer ring ensures alignment, limits expansion, and aids assembly.
