JOINTEX® BLACK

A high-quality joint made of modified PTFE containing 2% of a special carbon mix. This innovative material serves as an excellent replacement for asbestos and conventional PTFE seals, offering strong mechanical properties for long-lasting, high-quality sealing. It features excellent chemical, mechanical, and thermal resistance, along with good compression. Key characteristics include a high limiting oxygen index (LOI), low creep under load, a low friction coefficient, excellent electrical conductivity, food contact compatibility, antistatic properties, and resistance to aging. Its electrical conductivity (volume resistivity < 10⁶ Ω·cm) makes it suitable for use in ATEX areas.
