- Alumina fibre sleevings are braided from either F2 (72/28% Alumina / Silica) or G2 (60/40% Alumina / Silica) composition yarn.
- Alumina Sleeving (F2 Type) suffers almost no loss of mechanical strength at extreme temperatures up to 1250°C in optimum conditions.
- Alumina Sleeving (G2 Type) suffers almost no loss of mechanical strength at extreme temperatures up to 1200°C in optimum conditions.
- Great flexibility.
