Hot Glass Processing Textiles
Stainless steel fibre offers exceptional heat resistance, up to 650°C continuously, and dimensional stability. Its smooth, metallic surface helps dissipate heat quickly, reducing the risk of thermal shock to the glass. When finely spun, it can be incorporated into textiles without leaving abrasive residues.
Para-aramid fibre provides high tensile strength, cut resistance, and thermal stability up to 500°C. It acts as a structural backbone in ropes and webbings, maintaining integrity under tension while cushioning contact with the glass.
