Textile Technologies Europe Ltd supplies Stainless Steel fibre rope designed for glass tempering furnaces, hot glass quenching lines and high temperature conveying systems. Manufactured from fine stainless steel wire and processed in knitted or braided rope constructions.
This specialist ropes provide exceptional resistance to heat, thermal shock, abrasion and mechanical wear.
Despite its metallic construction, the rope offers excellent flexibility and compressibility, allowing it to conform to roller profiles whilst helping to minimise glass marking and surface damage during processing. Stainless steel rope is particularly suited to applications where conventional textile-based roller coverings cannot withstand operating temperatures or severe thermal cycling.
