Manufacturers, Converters and Distributors of Thermal, Industrial and Technical Textiles.

Textile Technologies stock and supply E-glass, ECR and S2 Glass processing yarns used in a variety of applications, primarily used to manufacture composites, insulation, and reinforcement materials.

1. E-glass Yarns (Economical)

Properties: Excellent for electrical applications and thermal insulation up to 500°C (932°F). Widely used as a reinforcement fibre in composite materials due to its balance of cost, performance, and versatility.

2. ECR-glass Yarns (Electrical/Corrosion-Resistant Glass)

Properties: Enhanced resistance to chemical corrosion compared to standard E-glass. It’s particularly useful in environments where the material will be exposed to harsh chemicals or moisture.

3. S2-glass Yarns: (High Strength)

Properties: S2-glass offers higher tensile strength and greater thermal resistance compared to E-glass, making it suitable for more demanding applications such as in aerospace and military industries.

Glass Plied Yarns: These yarns can be made with up to 10 plies based on different types of glass yarns (E-glass, S2-glass, ECR-glass) and can be combined with other materials like aramid, basalt, steel, and polyester (PES) according to customer specifications.

Texturized and Voluminized Glass Yarns: These yarns are produced using an air injection process to create single, parallel, or effect texturized yarns and are available in a range from 70 to 5,000 TEX, which refers to the thickness or mass per unit length of the yarn. Texturized and voluminized yarns are designed to trap air, enhancing their insulation properties.
