Textile Technologies Europe Ltd offer high-temperature furnace and oven curtains for use in demanding thermal processing and heat treatment environments. 

Engineered from a selection of heat-resistant textiles including E Glass and  Silica Fibre using either high-performance laminates or coatings, our curtains serve as effective thermal barriers in conveyor ovens, heat treatment lines, and static furnace openings.

Available in both static flat-panel designs, woven strip or slit-strip configurations, these curtains help contain heat, reduce energy loss, and protect workers from radiant exposure. All while allowing parts or materials to move through heated zones without disruption.

What are furnace and oven curtains used for?

These curtains are used to retain heat inside high-temperature equipment, improve energy efficiency, and protect operators from direct exposure. They’re ideal for oven openings, conveyor transitions, or sectioned-off heating zones.

What types of furnace curtains do you offer?

We offer two main types:

• Static Curtains: flat, solid barriers for fixed openings

• Woven Webbing, or Slit Strip Curtains: designed with overlapping slits to allow part movement through conveyor systems without major heat loss

Can these be custom made for our equipment?

Yes. All curtains can be tailored to your dimensions, with options for edge finishing, eyelets, Velcro closures, and multi-layer constructions. We also accommodate drawings or samples for precision fabrication.

What temperatures can these curtains withstand?

Depending on the textile, our curtains can handle continuous exposure from 550°C up to 1200°C+, with additional layers available for splash or spark resistance.

Are these curtains suitable for automated or continuous production lines?

Our woven webbing or slit-face curtains are specifically designed for use in automated conveyor ovens where parts must move through a thermal barrier while minimising heat escape.
