- Excellent turbo insulation jacket made from basalt rock fibre (outer layer) and S-TEX Silica (inner layer facing heat source from turbo) alongside a middle layer of high temperature insulation mat.
- The outer basalt layer has higher tensile strength than E glass ensuring a tough and durable outer skin.
- The outer basalt layer maintains integrity at temperatures up to 560°C and exhibits superior temperature resistance compared to E glass fibres in the range 300°- 560°C. Short periods to 700°C in optimum conditions.
- The inner layer of S-TEX Silica Fabric is to resistant to temperatures up to 1000°C in optimum conditions.
- The turbo heat shield has double reinforced seams inside and out and has reveted anchoring hooks to secure it in place.
