Norafin Needlepunch 100% Para Aramid

A needlepunch nonwoven manufactured from 100% para-aramid fibres. The material is produced via a dry-laid process, in which a carded fibrous web is mechanically bonded using vertically oscillating needles.

Para-aramids are high-performance fibres valued for their exceptional stability. Sourced from leading manufacturers such as DuPont™ (Kevlar®) and Teijin Aramid (Twaron®), they offer outstanding resistance to heat, flame, and chemicals.

Through the isotropic fibre orientation achieved by Norafin process technology, these nonwovens provide high dimensional stability in all directions and maintain strength even at low fabric weights.
